Dr. Hector E. Rodriguez

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Rodriguez completed his clinical doctorate in physical therapy at D’Youville College in Western New York. Prior to his physical therapy coursework, he was a NCAA division-1 soccer player at Canisius College. His passion for athletics has evolved into orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Dr. Rodriguez holds a board certification and fellowship status in orthopedic and manual physical therapy (a unique distinction within the profession). Academically, he mentors and trains doctoral and post-doctoral fellows through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. After his training, Dr. Rodriguez worked in outpatient practices in El Paso for the past seven years and has successfully treated thousands of patients. Through Hector’s experiences he recognizes the West Texas regional disparity for specialized musculoskeletal physical therapy. He developed Locomotion Physical Therapy, a specialized clinic for orthopedic/sports physical therapy and performance center geared toward providing the highest quality care that integrates movement, manual therapy, and treating the true causes of dysfunction and pain.

Dr. Marco Suriano

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Marco Suriano, DPT grew up in El Paso, Texas and Houston, Texas. He attended The University of Texas at El Paso, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Marco further expanded his education by completing an orthopedic residency and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist from The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has also been an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2015. 

Marco’s interests include learning about business, co-hosting a podcast (RightHab), investing, and spending time with his kids and wife. His hobbies include hiking, running, exercising, and playing with his 2 dogs; Jack the Basset Hound and Toby the Beagle.

Victoria Platt

BIOGRAPHY

Victoria’s yoga journey started in 2015, she found her soul’s calling to share the mind-body connection with others. She completed an advanced certification, 200 hours of Rocket-Vinyasa Yoga with The Carson Calhoun Yoga Academy in July 2020. Upon completion of her certification, she was hired by Carson himself to join an international group of teachers in the world’s first online bilingual yoga teacher training

She then went on to pursue an advanced 300-hour teacher training in Bali, Indonesia under Faye Balomenou and Himanshu Bahuguna in 2022. She returned from Bali with a mission to combine the holistic aspects of yoga and physical therapy. The principles of her practice include mindfulness, breath control, self discipline, and body awareness. She carries these values in movement sessions varying from yoga to clinical strength training. Victoria teaches Yoga/Pilates classes locally for various wellness studios. She has taught hundreds of students and has over 1000 hours of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing specialized Pilates certifications to advance her practice and better serve diverse patient populations.
